Sally Edwards, MA, MBA is a veteran physical educator and the creator of the Heart Zones Training system. This was the first easy to use, practical methodology to measure cardiovascular training using a simple training tool, a heart rate monitor. Sally has authored more than 22 books on health and fitness including the popular Heart Rate Monitor GUIDEBOOK. This professional triathlete is a 16-time Ironman finisher, a member of the Triathlon Hall of Fame, and past winner of the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run. Today, she uses her passion for health and fitness to lead cardiovascular and emotional training seminars and workshops around the world for health and physical education teachers, athletes, and fitness enthusiasts on how to get fit for a lifetime. Sally is the author of 24 book titles and is the program co-developer of the in-service professional development program.

Jen Ohlson explains, “Helping teachers in both health education and high schools has been one of my professional high points, because when kids learn and see the results from their physical education, their enthusiasm is contagious and exciting”.
