Exercise Fitness Tests (New Leaf VO2 Metabolic Assessments)

Friday, November 14- Sunday All Day

$99 Exercise and $129 for Exercise plus Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) Test (Standard fee is $169-$199).

This is an additional fee to your conference registration fee.

Throughout the Conference, you can choose to take an exercise or exercise and resting test to measure your current level of fitness, your maximum and threshold heart rate, and your caloric expenditure for each of the heart zones. This is a lab-accurate test that provides you with the essential fitness data that you need for your health and fitness. Level 1. Personal Training Certification The Blue Shirt

This is core-cardiovascular training for personal trainers and other fitness professionals. In this 8-hour course, you learn how to train clients or groups/teams and prescribe cardio exercise programs using both maximum heart rate and threshold heart rate, how to use heart rate data and monitors, and how to write a training plan. 7.5 CEUs: ACE, AFAA, USA Triathlon, and USA Cycling. Level 1. Triathlon Coach Certification

Designed for the athlete or trainer that wishes to become a certified coach training triathletes from first timers to podium winners. Level 1. Metabolic Specialist

Take this course if you want to learn about metabolism, the sum of all energy expenditure in the body and how to use a metabolic monitor - a metabolic cart. Learn about fat loss and muscle gain (weight changes) and how to achieve this for with a training plan for your client. Observe a demonstration of VO2 metabolic test (New Leaf) using gas analysis. Includes the workshop and workout - Field Test for Threshold heart rate. Instructors: Annelise DiGiacomo, Master Trainer and Jessica Christensen, New Leaf Director of Education.

 

Level 1. Weight Management - Weight Loss

This is a comprehensive course that teaches the three componenets of weight loss: physical, emotional, and metabolic (energy consumption) training. Learn how to baseline assess these three components and develop a scientific approach to weight loss based on the "whole person", lifestyle choices, diet and nutrition, and emotional load (stresses). This is the second of three levels of advanced Personal Training Certification. In this course, you learn advanced cardio-training concepts: periodization, assessments, training load and heart rate applications to become proficient in writing a training plans for athlete, weight loss, general fitness.
