With over three decades of teaching experience, Margie Jennings is an innovative and accomplished Physical Educator. Her career has spanned grades K-12, dozens of years coaching, serving as Department Chair at Pajaro Middle School, in the Pajaro Valley Unified School District in Watsonville, California. One of her distinguishing characteristics is that she’s on the leading edge of developing quality physical education.
As a co-founder of her district’s Wellness Committee, she took a leadership role in both curriculum development as well as other District and site level committees. Being recognized for her dedication and commitment to Physical Education, Margie has many awards including the California League of Middle Schools, Region 5 Educator of The Year in 2000. Margie is an avid camper, pickleball, player, swimmer and cyclist.
Margie’s commitment is to bring the Smart PE Movement, developing smart kids and using smart devices, and its companion technology to every school in California and ultimately, America.
