Over the past 9 years Joe has sat on the board of directors for the 100 Mile Club®, a non-profit working to fight against child inactivity. The 100 Mile club works with 1.2 million kids and over 5,000 schools in all 50 states. His involvement with the 100 Mile Club has helped kids make positive connections with exercise through cooperative community involvement. Joe is co-race director for the 100 Mile Club and current board treasurer.
As a teenager Joe was a judoka and all-state wrestler earning an NCAA Division I athletic scholarship. While attending college he worked as a fitness instructor and developed a strong passion for helping others through exercise science. In 1998 during his first year as a CPT, Joe began using heart rate monitors. It was then that he began to see the invaluable benefits of heart rate training as his clients excelled along with his business.
Joe understands how to increase club revenue by improving the employee and member experience. Proper implementation of our Heart Zones technology and methodology will benefit your clubs bottom line.
